4Q Catalyst Launches with AGENCY at the Cambridge Innovation Center

4Q Catalyst was featured in a March 2019 Boston Globe article about the companies working at the AGENCY Innovation Hub at the Cambridge Innovation Center  (CIC), “Startups focusing on aging have a home in new Kendall Square incubator.”     Co-founder of AGENCY, Danielle Duplin, is quoted in the article on the growth plans for AGENCY and the companies it has attracted,

“We want to accelerate the velocity of progress in this field. The aim is to commercialize some incredible products and services that help the world’s aging populations and their families and care partners.”

The original impetus for AGENCY was a weekend Ideathon and venture pitch program for innovations in longevity held at the CIC Venture Café in September 2017.  This Ideathon, sponsored by Sompo, a Japanese conglomerate that operates a chain of senior-care facilities, focused on solutions for Alzheimers , including using digital technology to support families and caregivers. 4Q Catalyst took part in the Ideathon and won third prize in the venture pitch competition with a Family Memory Connector solution that made it possible for extended families to communicate regularly with their loved ones in memory care.
