Mary J. Cronin
Mary J. Cronin, President of 4Q Catalyst, is a social entrepreneur, management professor, and business transformation consultant.
Mary works at the intersection of business transformation, social impact, and entrepreneurship. Her latest book is Starting Up Smarter: Why Founders Over 50 Build Better Businesses (forthcoming 2021). Her twelve prior books include the international best seller Doing Business on the Internet (1994), Smart Products, Smarter Services (2010), Top-Down Innovation (2014) and Managing for Social Impact: Innovations in Responsible Enterprise (2017).
Mary has a Ph.D. from Brown University and is a Research Professor at Boston College, Carroll School of Management. She serves on the board of The Encore Boston Network and Boston Authors Club, and the Steering Committee of Founders 55+.
Scott B. Guthery
Scott B. Guthery, Chief Innovation Officer at 4Q Catalyst, is an inventor, patent consultant, data analyst, author, and computer scientist.
Prior to co-founding 4Q Catalyst, Scott served as a Technical Advisor for In-Q-Tel, as a Senior System Architect at HID Global, co-founder and CTO at Mobile-Mind, and a senior developer at Microsoft. He has been granted over 60 US patents and is the author, co-author, editor of ten books, including Smart Card Developer’s Kit, Mobile Application Development, Developing MMS Applications: Multimedia Messaging, A Motif of Mathematics, and Practical Purposes.
Scott has a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. He is the founder of Docent Press, a Boston–based publisher, and a Boston Authors Club board member.
