Mary J. Cronin
Mary J. Cronin, President of 4Q Catalyst, is a social entrepreneur, author, researcher, and innovation consultant.
Mary’s work focuses on the intersection of social innovation, digital business, and entrepreneurship. She has written, co-authored, and edited twelve books including the international best seller Doing Business on the Internet (1994), Unchained Value (2000), Smart Products, Smarter Services (2010), Top-Down Innovation (2014) and Managing for Social Impact: Innovations in Responsible Enterprise (2017).
Mary has a Ph.D. from Brown University and is a Research Professor at Boston College, Carroll School of Management. She serves on the board of The Boston Authors Club and Encore Boston Network.
Scott B. Guthery
Scott B. Guthery, Chief Innovation Officer at 4Q Catalyst, is an inventor, patent consultant, data analyst, author, and computer scientist.
Prior to co-founding 4Q Catalyst, Scott served as a Technical Advisor for In-Q-Tel, as a Senior System Architect at HID Global, co-founder and CTO at Mobile-Mind, and a senior developer at Microsoft. He has been granted over 60 US patents and is the author, co-author, editor of ten books, including Smart Card Developer’s Kit, Mobile Application Development, Developing MMS Applications: Multimedia Messaging, A Motif of Mathematics, and Practical Purposes.
Scott has a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. He is the founder of Docent Press, a Boston–based publisher, and a Boston Authors Club board member.
